      STEPHEN KELLY holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Western Sydney University, as well as a Graduate Diploma and Honours degree in Psychology from The Australian College of Applied Psychology. He also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Sport Science and Exercise Physiology) from the University of Sydney. He is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).


      Stephen uses an integrative approach to therapy working collaboratively with clients to individually tailor treatment plans that best suit their needs, improve skills deficits and build on individual strengths to promote personal growth. Drawing on a diverse range of psychological approaches, including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems Therapy, he provides a respectful, collaborative and empathetic therapeutic space, promoting increased personal awareness, working towards individual goals in line with one’s personal values.


      Stephen has worked with adults and adolescents in individual and group therapy across a range of private, hospital, outpatient and community settings. He has provided clinical assessment and treatment for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioural challenges, difficulties with emotional regulation, interpersonal issues, substance use difficulties and low self-esteem. He has also worked with individuals with the sole focus on self-discovery, awareness and increased value directed living. Stephen has a particular interest in the treatment of personality disorders and those struggling with difficulties in interpersonal relationships and emotion regulation.
