Sharri (she/her) is an empathic, attuned, and curious therapist who works with adolescents, adults, and families in a holistic, collaborative, and transparent manner. She has experience in university, community, and public hospital settings, supporting individuals and families to overcome a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, OCD, burnout, perfectionism, trauma-related challenges, psychosis, and complex family dynamics.
Sharri tailors her approach to clients' goals and preferences, drawing from various therapeutic models and techniques, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, attachment theory, systemic family therapy, parts work (schema and internal family systems), relational psychotherapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. She has a particular interest in working with adults coping with the consequences of childhood, relational, and systemic trauma. These issues may manifest as difficulties with self-esteem, relationships, identity, and emotional regulation. Sharri works from a gender- and neurodiversity-affirming framework, and welcomes people of all cultures and backgrounds.
Sharri is a registered psychologist currently undertaking her clinical psychology registrar program. She completed her Master in Clinical Psychology and Honours degree in Psychology at the University of Sydney. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is an associate member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
